With Action Fire & Alarm, just a single contract covers all of your specific fire protection needs. Our contracts include maintenance, as well: our team of service technicians test and inspect your systems at regular intervals to maximize their operational abilities and avoid complications.

Action Fire Protection, LLC was created by Randy Benson. From the beginning he installed, serviced, and inspected hood suppression systems, paint booth suppression systems, and fire extinguishers. Randy ran the company for 21 years, primarily by himself.

Randy retired, selling the company to Michael Hartmann, Damian Martens, and Mike Boehmer. At that time, the company name was changed to Action Fire and Alarm Inc. With the name change, the company expanded its scope and added services such as installing, servicing, and inspecting fire alarms and exit/emergency lights.

Mike Boehmer decided to focus on a different venture and stepped down from his position. Michael Hartmann and Damian Martens purchased his shares.

AFA added the ability to inspect sprinkler systems and special hazard systems to their already long list of service capabilities. The company also continued to grow in other inspection and services areas.

Backed by a legacy of steady growth, AFA grew out of the original facility located at 2111 S West Ave and relocated to a new facility located at 404 Travis Lane, in Waukesha, WI.

Action Fire & Alarm expanded its services by adding a new location in Racine in 2013, ensuring broader access to top-notch fire protection and life safety solutions for the community.

AFA added its most recent service: installing and repairing sprinkler systems. This expanded capability necessitated the move to an even larger facility, so AFA moved to their present location at 1516 S West Ave, in Waukesha, WI.

Damian Martens stepped down from his position to move on to his next venture, leaving Michael Hartmann as the sole owner. Today, Michael continues to run the company with an impressive team beside him. Action Fire and Alarm Inc. continues to grow and develop by building solid relationships with the services we provide.
